Why should I choose an Aarenbrooke Place Assisted Living Community?

We recognize it is a difficult decision to place yourself or a loved one in an Assisted Living Community. Though this is difficult, many of our residents have indicated they wish they had made the decision to move to an Assisted Living Community much sooner. Our Communities allow residents to safely enjoy their independence, while receiving the little extra care that makes their lives fuller and happier. Through the countless amenities we offer at Aarenbrooke, each resident truly finds the comforts of home, the feeling of family, and a meaningful way of life.

Are transportation services offered at Aarenbrooke Place Assisted Living?

Yes, transportation is offered. Depending on your Aarenbrooke of choice, this is done at no charge, or a minimal fee. Our largest Aarenbrooke, centrally located in Boise, has a van dedicated to transporting our residents to various appointments, events, and outside activities planned by our dedicated activities specialists. This van service is provided free of charge to our residents located at that Community.

What is the cost of living at an Aarenbrooke Place Assisted Living Community?

Many Assisted Living facilities charge a la carte pricing, which (due to many essential services like bathing or toileting assistance) can grow to very large monthly fees. These fees can easily turn into hundreds if not thousands of dollars every month. At Aarenbrooke Place, we charge one fixed, monthly fee for our services based on the resident’s needs. This rate includes all meals, nursing care, medication assistance, and care assistance.

Do you have any availability at Aarenbrooke Place?

Availability varies by location. Please contact the Admissions Director at the location you prefer to inquire about availability. If we don’t have a bed open in your Community of choice, the Admissions Director can facilitate placement at other Aarenbrooke locations or include you or your loved one on a waiting list for that community.

How do I know if an Aarenbrooke Place Assisted Living Community is appropriate?

Many people aren’t familiar with what people can qualify for Assisted Living services. In many cases, someone that is presumed to be only eligible to reside in a Nursing Home can qualify for admission to one of our Communities. The best way to find this answer is to contact one of our Admissions Directors. Upon contact, the Admissions Director and the resident and/or family can perform a detailed assessment of the individual’s assistance requirements. This specialized process will determine care requirements and if Aarenbrooke Place can provide for those needs.

What are Levels of Care?

There are three levels of care serviced at Aarenbrooke Place Assisted Living. These levels are simply referred to as Level One, Level Two, and Level Three.

Level One:
A Level One resident is typically still independent in terms of day-to-day living activities and personal care requirements. The services for a resident at this level may include bathing assistance and/or medication administration.

Level Two:
A Level Two resident receives moderate assistance with personal care and other daily living activities. Additional assistance is provided a Level Two resident on an as-needed basis throughout the day. Additional services provided to this level of care are reminding and redirecting behavior, assistance with dressing, and other periodic services.

Level Three:
A level three resident receives heavier hands-on, more routine care throughout the day. Typically, a level three resident has one or more of the following personal care needs: incontinence care, bathing, dressing, mobility assistance, and administration of more complex medication regimens. Also, additional housekeeping, laundry, or dietary supervision is often required.

What furnishings does the Community provide and what do I bring myself?

A resident moving into an Assisted Living Community typically finds an easier time adjusting to his or her new surrounding by bringing their personal belongings and furnishings. A familiar bed, nightstand, dresser, and any smaller personal belonging are typically just what the new resident needs to help make the transition a smooth, comfortable one. Of course, if a resident doesn’t have some of these items, speak with your Admissions Director for assistance in accommodating the resident’s furniture needs.
